Hello all, a few nights ago, I took a 1/2 mile drive to the grocery store, and when I finished shopping and started my GC to head home, I noticed that it was running very rough and the accelerator was intermittently unresponsive. On the brief ride home, the CEL illuminated and started blinking.
2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee throws a p0300 code. When idling it's running a little rough until you gas up to about 900 rpm then it seems like it runs fine.
From the Service Manual: P0016-crankshaft/camshaft timing misalignment - bank 1 sensor 1. p0017-crankshaft/camshaft timing misalignment - bank 1 sensor 2. Possible causes: ENGINE OIL/ENGINE MECHANICAL. ERRATIC CAM POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL. Misfires, rough idle, P0300, p0174, p2099. Last year 2018 in June I had these same codes come up with really rough idle. I changed spark plugs and wires and it came back a month later.
